From the Rhône valley in South France, I grew up with a love
of good, fresh, home-cooked food. At 16, I started to learn to love
food by attending prestigious culinary establishments.
I studied at one of the best French catering schools, Ecole Hoteliére
de L'Hermitage in the Hermitage vineyard, for two years where I
acquired the techniques and knowledge to become a chef. I was examined
in the CAP (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnel) and the BEP (Brevet
d'Etudes Professionnelles de Cuisine) in French cuisine.
In the following two years, I attended the prestigious Ecole Hoteliére
"Le Clos d'Or," in Grenoble, were I obtained the Bacalaureat
Professionnel de Restauration. I was trained to become a head-chef,
with the necessary skills to train others and manage my own business
and staff. My training covered international cuisines and techniques,
including Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian, North African, European,
West Indian, Mexican, South American and Siberian/Mongolian.
After graduating, I trained and worked in Michelin-star, Table
Gourmande and Macaron restaurants including Les
Sequoïas, Restaurant Le Kleber, Auberge Les Trois Canares,
Le Val D'Esquieres and The Peacock Hotel, Derbyshire.
In London, I worked for an agency as a head-chef/director-chef for
six years.
Having
acquired 15 years of cooking experience, I have now decided to share
my knowledge and love of food with the new wave of food-lovers (and
old ones!) that is growing in the United Kingdom. I am passionate
about food, and I am excited about the new experience that I can
bring to your kitchen, family and friends - and yourself bien sure!
